When John and Carmen first started, the children would sleep in the living room of their house until a separate dorm room was built for
them. John and Carmen always wanted the children to feel part of a family. The picture below is of the completed first house, on right,
and the beginning of another room. The trees at the bottom of the picture are the pine trees now covering the home with their shade and
protection.
